Government Structure

The Kingdom of New Roxburgh is an absolute monarchy under the reign of HM King Laine of New Roxburgh. Under His Majesty's direction, during our restructuring in 2022 the nation also formed an Advisory Board to the King (NRABK) to replace our nation's parliamentary body. Though this board does not have legislative authority, it is composed of representatives from various backgrounds both appointed by His Majesty and elected by the citizenry to advise HM the King on issues affecting the people of our nation today, assisting the Sovereign in making the best possible decisions for our nation.

Government Agencies

• New Roxburgh State Protection Group (NRSPG)

The New Roxburgh State Protection Group (NRSPG) is the nation's primary law enforcement body. Tasked with the enforcing our laws, protecting our borders, and executing the Royal Will, the NRSPG is always vigilant and prepared to protect the realm no matter the cost.

• New Roxburgh Treasury

The New Roxburgh Treasury both stores and protects the nation's gold and silver inventory and issues banknotes in His Majesty's name. Each bank note is backed by physical gold and silver held in the Treasury's stores.

• New Roxburgh Territorial Force

The New Roxburgh Territorial Force serves as our nation's military. Consisting of all able-bodied males age 16 and older, with those age 18 and older serving in combat roles during wartime, the Territorial Force protects our nation from all enemies both from abroad and from within. The Territorial Force also houses a special unit known as the Royal Guard, an elite force dedicated exclusively the protection of His Majesty the King and the Royal Family.
